On Friday 31st January, the NATO Defense College (NDC) celebrated the graduation of Senior Course 135 (SC 135), composed of 75 high-ranking officers and senior civil servants from 30 NATO and Partner countries, coming together for the last time to celebrate the conclusion of the Senior Course.

SC 135 Committee Study Project Presentations

On 23 and 24 January 2019, Senior Course 135 Committee Study Project (CSP) presentations took place at the NATO Defense College. The event was held in the presence of NDC Commandant Lieutenant General Chris Whitecross; Vice Chief of Staff SHAPE and NDC Commandant designate, Lieutenant General Olivier Rittimann; NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for the Defence Investment Division, Mr Gordon “Skip” Davis; and the Director of the NATO Defense College Foundation, Dr Alessandro Politi.

Modular Short Course 135-5: “Global Security Challenges”

From 13 to 17 January 2019, Modular Short Course (MSC) 135-5 was run at the NATO Defense College (NDC). The Course, dedicated to “Global Security Challenges”, was attended by 25 senior officers from 12 NATO countries. The topics considered included cyber security, terrorism and organized crime, demographic trends and migration, weapons of mass destruction, proliferation and arms control, and energy security.
