A delegation from the Indonesia Defence University visits the College
On Wednesday 26 November 2014, a delegation from the Indonesia Defence University visited the NATO Defense College (NDC).
On arrival, the group was welcomed by the Commandant, MGen Janusz Bojarski (POL F), and by the Dean, Dr Daria Daniels Skodnik (SVN C).
After spending time in discussion with the Commandant and Dean, the delegation attended SC125’s morning lecture, entitled ‘Security Perspectives of Demographic Trends’, by Prof Gunnar Heinsohn (DEU).
After the lecture, the delegation had a valuable opportunity to meet senior NDC leaders. They were briefed by Colonel Kent Soebbing (USA A), who gave an extensive overview of the NDC’s aims and activities. The visit then concluded with a tour of the College.
Having this opportunity to spend time at the NDC afforded the visitors considerable insight into the College’s unique contribution to strategic-level education and research for NATO and its Partners. The visit also offered valuable scope for discussion of the commonalities and shared priorities of defence education in different parts of the world.
