Veronica Strina

Veronica Strina is a PhD candidate in Diplomacy and International Cooperation at the University for Foreigners of Perugia. During her PhD, she has been a visiting student at the Defense Department at King’s College London and the School of Education at Shanghai International Studies University. Her research focuses on China’s public diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, and sports diplomacy, with particular emphasis on the internationalization of Chinese higher education, Europe-China research cooperation, and the influence of Confucian thought on the PRC’s foreign policy behavior.
She has actively participated in international conferences and workshops, and has enriched her academic background through study experiences at Peking University and Fudan University in China.
