NDC Facilities

The NDC facilities provide the perfect venue for the College's life. They include Common Areas, an Auditorium and Conference Rooms, a Gymnasium and Sport Areas, a Mess & Cafeteria etc.

The NDC premises are a state-of-the-art building specifically designed to meet the College's requirements and inaugurated in 1999. The venue also has a car park, outdoor sport facilities, recreation areas etc.

 

 

Auditorium & Conference Rooms: The NDC "Mainard-Thorn" Main Auditorium is equipped with 260 seats, a complete audio system, simultaneous translation, video projectors, VTC and TV capabilities. There are also two other main conference rooms, ("Ismay Auditorium", 56 seats, & "Eisenhower Room", 52 seats), plus a number of committee/briefing rooms.

Sport Facilities: A fully equipped gymnasium is open from 6 a.m. till 8 p.m. (Weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and is available free of charge for use by our Course Members, Faculty and Staff. The Gym facilities include weight and cardiovascular training equipment such as free weights and selectorized machines, treadmills, cross trainers, recumbent bikes, rowing machines etc. The indoor facilities are equipped with locker rooms and showers. There are also two tennis/volleyball courts for outdoor activities, with their own changing facilities and showers.

 

Mess and Cafeteria:The NDC Mess Hall is a pleasant, modern open space. There are also reserved dining rooms for "Top-tables" and VIPs visiting the College.
The menu will meet individual needs with regard to taste, health requirements or religious practice; taking this into account, you may choose from four first and main courses plus a variety of salads and desserts.
A complete cafeteria is available next to the Mess Hall, with ample indoor and outdoor space.
