Brigadier General Yousuf Abdulla Yousuf BEHZAD, the Commandant of Bahrain\u2019s Royal Command and Staff College, presents a gift to the NDC Commandant, Lieutenant General Wolf-Dieter LOESER. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n

A delegation from the Bahrain Defense Forces visited the NATO Defense College<\/a>, 14-16 February 2011, to discuss our courses and activities, and share academic experiences that may inform future programs for the Bahrain Defense Forces. The delegation of 4 officers was led by Brigadier General Yousuf Abdulla Yousuf BEHZAD, the Commandant of Bahrain’s Royal Command and Staff College.<\/p>\n

In addition to productive meetings with the NDC Commandant and the Dean, our distinguished guests attended several sessions with Brigadier General Nick Smith<\/a> (GBR A), Director of Academic Operations, and other key leaders at the College. The delegation received informative briefings on the curriculum and programme for the Senior Course, the NATO Regional Cooperation Course, and many of NDC\u2019s other research and outreach initiatives.<\/p>\n

The visit occurred in advance of the planned Senior Course 118 field study visit to Bahrain, and is indicative of the important and continuing cooperation between NDC and the Bahrain Defense Forces.<\/p>\n
