H.E. Hakki Akil, Ambassador of T\u00fcrkiye to the Italian Republic, visited the NATO Defense College (NDC) on 30th November. <\/p>\n

He was warmly welcomed<\/a> by NDC Commandant Lieutenant General Arne Bård Dalhaug and by NDC Faculty Adviser Ms Ayça Oşafoǧlu, who is the Senior National Representative of T\u00fcrkiye at the College. After a brief meeting in the Commandant\u2019s office, the Ambassador received a dedicated briefing on the mission and activities of the NDC. This was followed by a guided tour of the premises, enabling the Ambassador to see state-of-the-art facilities in daily use by Course Members (Maynard-Thorn Auditorium, Library and Knowledge Centre).<\/p>\n

Ambassador Akil expressed great interest in the work carried out at the College, its international vocation, and its fundamental contribution to the Alliance\u2019s educational, research and outreach activities. <\/p>\n
