New Ways to Support NATO through Reserve Forces<\/i><\/a>, by Guillaume Lasconjarias.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">In a recent publication, the NATO Military Committee noted that an increasing number of nations made use of professional soldiers in their Regular Forces, but showed great interest, too, in assessing  Reservists\u2019 skills and experience to face complex environments. The availability of Reserves, however, has become a burning issue; Reservists must be able to meet their objectives and be ready where and when needed. This can only be achieved if society at large and, especially, the civilian labour market support this initiative.<\/p>\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">The latest research paper from the NATO Defense College addresses the issue of the availability of Reservists from the defence and employers\u2019 point of view. What solutions have, so far, been imagined and proposed?
