Participants to the 2015 Liaison Officers’ Planning Conference at the NATO Defense College<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n

On 29 January 2015, the NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rome had the pleasure of hosting a group of sixteen Liaison Officers from thirteen different NATO and Partner Countries for the annual Planning Conference.<\/p>\n

The aim of the meeting is to address short- and long-term issues in order to plan and execute the Field Studies for the next Senior Courses (SC 126 and SC 127), as an important complement to the academic curriculum.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, participants were warmly welcomed by the NDC Commandant MGen Janusz Bojarski (POL F) and Dean Dr Daria Daniels Skodnik (SVN C), who opened the day\u2019s proceedings.<\/p>\n

Further addresses were made by MGen Pascal Valentin (FRA A), Director of the Academic Operations Division; Capt. Brent Hopkins (CAN N), Head of the Curriculum Planning Branch; and Col Andrea Tiveron (ITA A), Head of the Academic Field Studies Branch.<\/p>\n

Bearing in mind Alliance and national requirements, arrangements for logistics, communication, protocol and matters arising were discussed, with a view to accommodating the constantly evolving educational priorities of the NDC\u2019s Senior Course.<\/p>\n
