On 28th April 2016, the NATO Budget Committee visited the NATO Defense College for a comprehensive overview of the NDC\u2019s mission and activities.<\/p>\n
The visitors were greeted by NDC Commandant Major General Janusz Bojarski (POL F), with a brief introduction to the College\u2019s mission and activities.<\/p>\n
After a guided tour of the College premises, the Budget Committee had the opportunity to attend Senior Course 128\u2019s scheduled lecture of the day, \u201cNATO in the Future<\/i>\u201d, given by Dr. J. Lindley-French (GBR).<\/p>\n
In the afternoon, the group learned about the College\u2019s contribution to strategic-level education, research and outreach activities, through briefings by the Research Division, the Academic Policy Branch and the Middle East Faculty. A lively Q\/A period followed each briefing. The last briefing of the day, on NDC Budget and Finance, was provided by the Head of the Budget and Finance Branch, Mr. V. Distefano (ITA C).<\/p>\n
The closing remarks were made on behalf of the Commandant by the NDC Dean, Dr Daria Daniels-Skodnik (SVN C). On behalf of the Budget Committee, Chairman Mr M. Powalski expressed appreciation for the exhaustive information and support received.<\/p>\n
