On 14 February 2017, the NATO Defense College hosted a visit from the Command and Staff College of the Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia. The delegation, comprising 21 participants, was made up of Brigadier Generals, Colonels and Lieutenant Colonels. This visit allowed them to gain an overview of the NDC, its mission and the work it is doing. <\/p>\n
The visit included presentations by Faculty Adviser Dr Kevin Koehler, of the Middle East Faculty; Col Pavel Sk\u00e1la, Head Academic Programmes Branch; and Col Frank Mathiassen, Academic Policy Branch. There was also an opportunity to discuss topics of interest for future courses, areas for potential collaboration and the ongoing fields of cooperation between the Command and Staff College and the NDC.<\/p>\n
