A group composed of seven visitors from the Delegation of the Jeunes IHEDN (Institut des Hautes \u00c9tudes de D\u00e9fense Nationale<\/em>) Think Tank Association in Italy visited the NATO Defense College on 28 April 2023. <\/p>\n

The aim for the visiting guests was to initiate contact between the NATO Defense College and the Jeunes IHEDN Delegation in Italy, to raise awareness and to increase both entities\u2019 engagement with young people. The visiting delegation was led by Mr Mateo Delattre, International Delegate in Italy.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, the group was received by the French National Representative and Faculty Advisor at the NATO Defense College, State Executive Armand Apruzzese. The visitors attended a comprehensive briefing on the history, structure and main activities of the NDC delivered by Mr Apruzzese. <\/p>\n

The Jeunes IHEDN Think Tank Association is the first European and generational association on issues of engagement, defence and security, operating under the joint patronage of the French Minister of the Armed Forces, Mr S\u00e9bastien Lecornu, and the French Chief of the Defence Staff, General Thierry Burkhard. Created in 1996, the Association has brought together young students trained at the IHEDN and has reached out to all young people. As both a platform for engagement and a think tank, the association offers, in France and internationally, various ways of actively addressing the key challenges for the future.<\/p>\n
