NATO HQ Armaments and Aerospace Capabilities Directorate visits the NDC
On 16 May 2022, a delegation from the NATO HQ Armaments and Aerospace Capabilities Directorate, led by its Director, Dr Giorgio Cioni, visited the NATO Defense College (NDC). The aim of the visit was to explore opportunities for future cooperation with the College.
Upon arrival, the visiting delegation, which also included the Head of the Aerospace Capabilities Section, Mr Michael Callender, as well as four other delegates, was welcomed by the NDC Director of Management (DOM), Brigadier General Riccardo Brizi, and the NDC Head of the Academic Operations Division (DAO), General Ferenc Molnár. Brigadier General Brizi briefed the visitors on the NDC’s main activities, organization and history. NDC Senior Researcher Dr Andrea Gilli then gave a presentation on “Drone Warfare in Libya, Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh”, followed by a discussion and Q&A session to conclude the visit.
