On 4 May 2023 a student delegation composed of 33 visitors from Roma Tre University and the American University of Rome visited the NATO Defense College.
The delegation was led by Prof. Luca Ratti, Associate Professor at Roma Tre University and Adjunct Professor at the American University of Rome. The study visit gave the students, currently attending university courses on NATO and international organizations, a chance to better understand the role of the NDC within the Alliance. Such visits are also an excellent opportunity for the College to engage with young professionals in the fields of Political Science and International Relations.
The visitors were welcomed to the College, after which they attended a comprehensive briefing on the history, structure and main activities of the NDC by the Director of Enablement Brigadier General Riccardo Brizi (ITA A). Finally, they heard a lecture delivered by NDC Senior Researcher Dr Marc Ozawa on “The Russia-Ukraine war and NATO”, followed by a lively Q&A session.
