On 15 February 2023, the NATO Defense College (NDC) welcomed a visiting delegation from the Joint Staff College (JSC) of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces led by the Joint Staff College Commandant, Vice-Admiral Tatsuya Futakawa.

On 14 February 2023, the NATO Defense College inaugurated two of its renowned courses, the Senior Course 142 (SC 142) and the NATO Regional Cooperation Course 29 (NRCC 29).

On 9 February 2023, H.E. Mr Pierre-Emmanuel de Bauw, Belgian Ambassador to Italy, Malta and San Marino, visited the NATO Defense College (NDC).

The NATO Defense College Research Division, in collaboration with the Nuclear Policy Directorate at NATO Headquarters, is pleased to announce a call for applicants for the 5th Annual Early-Career Nuclear Strategists Workshop (ECNSW), to be hosted in-person at the NATO Defense College in Rome, Italy on 21-23 June 2023.

Following his period at the NATO Defense College (NDC) as Senior Eisenhower Fellow from September 2022 to January 2023, the NDC warmly welcomes back Professor Mark Alan Webber, as Non-Resident Associate Fellow in NDC Research Division, effective 01 February 2023.
