NDC launches the latest Research Paper “A Strategic Odyssey: Constancy of Purpose and Strategy-Making in NATO, 1949-2019”

On 10 July, 2019, the Policy Planning Unit at NATO HQ hosted an event to launch the NDC latest NDC Research Paper, "A Strategic Odyssey: Constancy of Purpose and Strategy-Making in NATO, 1949-2019", by Diego Ruiz Palmer.
Benedetta Berti, Head of the Policy Planning Unit, chaired the session.
Thierry Tardy, Head of the NDC Research Division, gave the opening remarks, before Diego Ruiz Palmer presented his monograph.
Patrick Turner, Assistant Secretary General for Defence Policy and Planning, acted as discussant, and provided comments on the NDC Research Paper.
These initial remarks were then followed by a discussion period with the rest of the audience, composed of about 30 NATO staff members.
