Chatham House-NDC Workshop on “Russia’s military and security strategy in the High North. Implications for NATO and Nordic countries”

On January 14th, the NDC co-sponsored a workshop on security developments in the High North organized by Chatham House in London. The title of the event was “Russia’s military and security strategy in the High North - Implications for NATO and Nordic countries.”

The speakers came from the Royal Danish Defence College, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and the Finnish Ministry of Defence along with the NDC and Chatham House. From the Research Division, Dr Thierry Tardy and Dr Marc Ozawa participated in the workshop and represented NDC. The event is part of a project on the High North that will culminate in a Research Paper publication by Chatham House and the NDC.
