Wilton Park Annual Conference on ‘Deterrence Strategies and European Security’

The event was co-organised by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the British Ministry of Defence, Sandia National Laboratories, and the NDC.

The conference gathered some of the leading practitioners and experts working on issues related to (nuclear) deterrence; it provided a venue for open discussion and for strengthening past relationships and creating new ones. The conference covered the most important deterrence-related issues, including NATO’s Deterrence and Defense posture, Russia’s goals and perceptions, emerging technologies, as well as regional stability.
