Senior Course 115 Winter Field Study – Qatar

Senior Course 115 of NATO Defense College had its first ever visit to Qatar. In the Capital town Doha they were briefed by Brigadier Sanad Ali Al Noaimi about Qatar’s geopolitical situation, the objectives of their Defence policy, NATO-Qatar relationship and finally the overseas deployment in support of International Organizations.

Then Ambassador Hussein Al Jaber, Director of the Office of the Minister of State for International Cooperation, talked about the four axes of Qatar’s Foreign and Security Policy.

At the end of the visit LtGen LOESER, NDC Commandant, underlined the key role played by Qatar in assuring peace and security in the Gulf region.
