Are we heading towards a new Cold War with Russia? NATO seems to be increasingly short of a positive agenda with its difficult strategic partner. In addition, bilateral relations between the various Euro-Atlantic capitals and Moscow seem to have become increasingly cool. The Research Division of the NATO Defense College, in collaboration with the International Military Staff at NATO HQ, recently ran an experts’ roundtable entitled “Political and Military Cooperation or NATO-Russian Roulette: Proactive Management of a Difficult Relationship”, to discuss NATO-Russian military relations and possible strategies for interaction with Russia.
A short report on the key findings of the roundtable has now been published.
