Rear Admiral Murray J. Tynch III, J-3 (Operations), Joint Forces Command Naples, attended Senior Course 129’s Study Project presentations during the last week of January 2017. As their final assignment before graduation, each of the six Committees into which the Senior Course is broken down presented a project chosen from a broad range of topics relevant to the Alliance.
Rear Admiral Tynch, who was very appreciative of the chance to be present at the Study Project presentations, was impressed by the standards of academic preparation. He also noted the Course Members’ confidence in giving an independent perspective to their analysis and argumentation, complemented by evident willingness to bring added value to the discussion by the quality of their unscripted answers to the audience’s many questions. As the Admiral commented afterwards, “NATO Commands are very fortunate to be able to draw on the talents of the NDC’s Senior Course graduates.”
