
On 14 March 2017, the NATO Defense College had the honour to host the Director-General for International Security Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Ambassador Alper Coşkun, accompanied by the Turkish Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Murat Salim Esenli.
Ambassador Alper Coşkun, who was welcomed by Dean and Acting Commandant Brig. Gen. (ret.) František Mičánek, addressed SC 130 on the subject of “NATO-EU Relations”. The Ambassador spoke about the progress of cooperation within NATO-EU relations, and the new challenges and implications to enhance this cooperation. He concluded with the hope that increasingly robust NATO-EU cooperation will make it possible to overcome future uncertainties.
