
The week-long Modular Short Course (MSC) 130-3 entitled “NATO: Present and Future” started on 3rd April and runs in conjunction with Senior Course (SC) 130.
MSC 130-3 is attended by 10 participants from 8 different NATO countries and aims to analyze the role and character of NATO, including its organization, policies and activities, with lectures provided on “NATO and the Transatlantic Link”, “NATO in the Post-Cold War Order: Challenges and Implications” and “NATO Strategic Guidance”. In the next few days participants will follow other lectures on “NATO’s Partnership Initiatives” and on “NATO Defence Planning”.
In addition, Course Members learn about the contribution made by the Alliance to security and the necessary adaptations to remain relevant in a changing security environment, and to the demands of current operations.
