On 05 November 2020, Senior Course 137 (SC137) of the NATO Defense College (NDC) conducted its virtual visit to the Slovak Republic for the second Field Study.
The day included several lectures by key personnel from the Slovak Defence Policy Department, the Modernization Department, the Armed Forces and Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. The lectures addressed topics such as the security policy of the Slovak Republic, its defence priorities, modernization and planning. All the lectures were followed by an ample interactive phase of questions and answers.
The virtual visit represented a great opportunity for Course Members to gain a deeper understanding of the Slovak Republic’s security and defence policy and its role within NATO and the EU.
