Belgium’s Ambassador to Italy, Malta and San Marino visits the NDC

On 9 February 2023, H.E. Mr Pierre-Emmanuel de Bauw, Belgian Ambassador to Italy, Malta and San Marino, visited the NATO Defense College (NDC).

The aim of the visit was to nurture the good relationship between Belgium and the NDC and foster Belgian participation in courses provided by the NDC, as well as emphasizing the importance of military and civilian leadership education in a challenging environment.

Upon arrival, the Ambassador was welcomed by NDC Commandant Lieutenant-General Olivier Rittimann. The Ambassador signed the Guest Book and proceeded to an Office Call with the NDC Commandant.

Afterwards, the NDC Commandant and Division Heads briefed the Ambassador on the main activities, structure and history of the NATO Defense College, followed by a tour of the College’s premises to wrap up the visit.
