Projet d’étude de comité et mémoire individuel

Le programme pédagogique du Cours supérieur du Collège de Défense de l’OTAN prévoit deux travaux écrits obligatoires qui font l’objet d’une évaluation : le projet d’étude de comité (sigle anglais : CSP) et le mémoire individuel (sigle anglais : IP). Pour l’auditeur, les principaux objectifs pédagogiques du projet d’étude de comité sont de démontrer ses compétences dans le domaine de la réflexion stratégique, en développant une hypothèse de recherche sur un thème qui intéresse l’Alliance, et dans le domaine de l’édification du consensus. Le mémoire individuel a des objectifs similaires et consent également à l’auditeur d’améliorer ses compétences dans la recherche individuelle, dans l’analyse et la communication. Les thèmes des CSP et des IP sont déterminés en fonction du programme annuel de recherche de la Division de la recherche du NDC, approuvé par le Comité militaire de l’OTAN et noté par le Conseil de l’Atlantique Nord.

Le projet d’étude de comité est le projet phare du Cours supérieur du Collège de Défense de l’OTAN et donne l’occasion aux auditeurs de démontrer qu’ils ont réalisé les importants objectifs pédagogiques suivants:

  • Approfondir leurs connaissances de l’OTAN et mieux comprendre l’Alliance;
  • Améliorer leurs compétences dans le domaine de la réflexion stratégique;
  • Favoriser l’ouverture d’esprit.
