Mr Franco Vigneri celebrates 40 years with the NDC

Mr Vigneri was born in Catania, Sicily. He studied in Rome, where he obtained a diploma as a qualified expert in Telecommunications and Electronics.

He joined the NDC as a Sound Technician in 1969. Since 2001 Mr Vigneri has been in charge of the Audio Visual Section. He is a respected and very valuable member of the CIS Branch.

In the course of his long career at the College, he has been instrumental in a number of ambitious projects. He designed the Ismay Auditorium and the NRCC Committee Rooms and was responsible for technical coordination during their construction. He also organized and supervised all the work required to upgrade the Main Auditorium, the Eisenhower Room, the Language Laboratory and the Committee Rooms.
