National Liaison Officers’ Conference at the NATO Defense College

On January 24th and 25th, the NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rome hosted the Liaison Officers’ (LOs’) Conference.

The annual Conference, dedicated to organization of the Senior Course (SC), is attended by LOs from Course Members’ nations.

Participants were warmly welcomed by the NDC leadership, with Commandant Lieutenant General Arne Bård Dalhaug (NOR A) and NDC Dean Dr Richard D. Hooker (USA C) addressing introductory remarks to the group.

The focus of the Conference was the fine-tuning of curricula and of all related arrangements for forthcoming SCs (SC 122, to be followed in the second half of the current year by SC 123). Field Studies were an important item on the agenda, given the need to address constantly evolving educational priorities and update preparations accordingly.
