The publication reviews the book “Okolonolia”, rumoured to be authored by Vladislav Surkov, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
The review places the book in the wider political and cultural context, and argues that “Okolonolia” is a revealing kaleidoscope through which to see the many complexities of today’s Russia: it is a post modern book for what many in the Russian elite see as a post modern time.
