On 25 March 2022, the Polish Permanent Representative at NATO, Ambassador Tomasz Szatkowski, visited the NATO Defense College (NDC). The aim of the visit was t to meet with the College’s leadership.
Upon arrival, the Ambassador Tomasz Szatkowski signed the Guest Book and had an Office Call with NDC’s Commandant, LGEN Rittimann, and Senior Leaders. Afterwards, the Ambassador gave a briefing on the last NATO Summit decisions and discussions concerning the situation in Ukraine.
The NDC’s Commandant then presented the mission, structure and main activities of the College. The meeting concluded with an exchange of ideas on rethinking NATO’s reaction against threats, defence of “every inch of NATO territory”, deterrence, and how to enhance the resilience.
