This week, the NDC held a training program for Faculty and Staff to improve the knowledge of technological tools in the work environment and to assess the psychological and social impact of the COVID-19 crisis. The Programme also provided a forum to discuss the main learnings drawn by management at the College during the pandemic.
The NDC has continued to deliver its curricula to Course Members during the COVID-19 crisis, adapting to the new situation as it arose. In preparation for the upcoming courses and in anticipation of new challenges ahead, the NDC delivered the Faculty and Staff Training and Reset and Training Programme as part of the professional development of Faculty and Staff.
The main topics covered during the lectures and hands-on demonstrations spanned how to manage the new technologies; how to apply them to the learning/teaching process and research; and understanding the social impact of telework and isolation. Presentations were made by people from both the NDC and HQ, as well as professionals from different fields. During the Programme, the key lessons learned by management during the COVID-19 crisis were also presented to NDC Faculty and Staff.
