Additionally, the College conducted a number of other engagement activities based on NATO HQ directives or as opportunities arose.

2021 activities included:

Virtual Modular Short Course in cooperation with NATO-Istanbul Cooperation Initiative Centre in Kuwait City;
Development of cooperation between the NATO Defense College and the G5 Sahel Defence College;

NDC increased support to the Iraqi Defence University for Higher Military Studies in cooperation with NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP) and the NATO Mission in Iraq;
The College engaged with different NATO Education and Training Facilities, maintained a strong relationship with Allied Command Transformation, Partnership for Peace Consortium, and the NATO Defense Education Enhancement Programme.
