Next month’s Chicago Summit offers a chance for NATO to discuss the future of its global partnerships beyond Afghanistan. As the strategic center of gravity shifts towards the Asia-Pacific region, a critical question for the Alliance is how to further develop relations with countries such as Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea. The new research paper by the Research Division analyses these four countries’ perspectives on their relations with the Alliance and offers practical recommendations on the way ahead.
