A delegation of Ecuadorian Air Force War College Course Members, composed of 30 senior officers, visited the NATO Defense College – the first time ever for a Latin American country. The delegation was welcomed by the Director of Management, Brigadier General Gyorgy JUHASZ, on behalf of the NDC Commandant, Lieutenant General Wolf-Dieter LOESER. During their tour the guests visited all the NDC facilities and answered a number of questions on the daily routine of the Course Members and the programme of lectures.
They were briefed on the NDC’s purpose and organization, the courses offered, and the outreach activities. Each presentation was followed by an interesting Q&A session. The delegation’s visit to the College was their first overview of the NATO environment and the lively interest they showed was greatly appreciated. At the end of the visit the Chief of the Delegation, Brigadier General Jaime Guillermo Narvaez Piedra, expressed his wish to have Ecuadorians attending the Senior Course at the NDC in the near future.
