On Friday 20th January 2012, a group of 15 National Liaison Officers visited the NATO Defense College in Rome for the Liaison Officers’ (LOs’) Conference.
The Conference, which focuses on organization of the Senior Course, is attended by Liaison Officers from Course Members’ nations.
The main item on the agenda for this year’s edition of the Conference was discussion of updates to the arrangements for Field Studies (FS), identifying possible challenges arising from the recently adopted format of three FS per Senior Course and examining proposals for possible new destinations for future courses to visit. The group also discussed logistic procedures and plans to harmonize the academic programmes, mainly for the upcoming Senior Courses 120 and 121.
Participating Liaison Officers were cordially welcomed by Lieutenant General Arne Bård DALHAUG, Commandant of the NATO Defense College, and by Dr Richard D. HOOKER, the Dean.
