The Commandant, Lieutenant General Wolf-Dieter Loeser, presents Mrs Maria Mancuso (Assistant) with a diploma in recognition of 40 years service with the NATO Defense College (NDC).
Mrs Mancuso was born in Algeria and moved to Rome in 1962 with her family. After having worked at the French Embassy for one year she joined the NDC on 1 December 1968 as a Steno-Typist.
From 1971-1985 she worked in the Personnel Section and since 1986 has been working as a B3 Assistant in the Academic Planning and Policy Division.
Mrs Mancuso is considered a very valuable member of the Academic Planning and Policy Division and provides solid support to the academic programme.
