From 3 to 5 October 2022, the NDC Research Division co-sponsored a Wilton Park conference organized by the Alphen Group on “The Future War and Deterrence.”
The event brought together a group of 70 international experts, senior military officers, and scholars. In a mix of plenaries and breakout sessions, participants examined a series of long-term trends (strategic competition, technological evolutions, etc.) and current developments in relation to the war in Ukraine, to draw various scenarios and implications for armed forces, the future of warfare, and military alliances.
This event complements the one held in Wilton Park in July 2022
