
On 23rd April, the NATO Defense College (NDC) and the Ukrainian National Defence University (UNDU) opened the 18th edition of the International Week in Kyiv.
BG Heinz Josef FELDMANN, Head Academic Planning and Policy Division at the NATO Defense College, together with Colonel General Oleksandr DUBLYAN, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine opened the 18th International Kyiv Week with the theme “Reshaping NATO’s posture for 21st Century Challenges”.
This year, there were two keynote addresses, the first by H.E. Mr Raimundas KAROBLIS, Lithuanian Minister of National Defence and the second by Lieutenant General Jan BROEKS, Director General of the NATO International Military Staff (DGIMS).
International Kyiv Week plays an important role in providing in-depth understanding of the Alliance and its approach to strategic-level education. The International Week continues to heighten the mutual respect that exists between the Alliance and its long-standing partner, Ukraine.
