On 12-13 March, Senior Course 134’s “International Organizations” Study Period focused on the EU and its cooperation with NATO. Various experts talked about the European Union from different perspectives, and looked at new projects jointly undertaken by the two organizations.
These two days of lectures and detailed Q&A sessions were also attended by Modular Short Course (MSC) 134-2 and the current NATO Regional Cooperation Course (NRCC-21).
This was the first time that the SC curriculum had specifically dedicated two entire days of SP B to the important topic of EU-NATO relations, and the initiative proved very successful.
The whole of Study Period B was prepared and moderated by NDC Faculty Adviser Nancy Vellone (ITA C).
