NDC Modular Short Course 137-4 entitled, “NATO: 360 Degrees” took place in virtual mode during its entire duration from 16-20 November.
Modular Short Courses (MSC) are one of the College’s key offerings to facilitate a better knowledge and understanding of NATO. This week, MSC 137-4 merged with the first week of Study Period E of Senior Course 137. Topics covered included lectures on Strategic Thinking, the Western Balkans, Russia and the Northern Region including the Artic.
Although the College is currently operating in hybrid mode, “NATO: 360 Degrees”, the theme and title of both Study Period E and Modular Short Course 137-4, was carried out virtually due to current travel restrictions. This is the first time that a Modular Short Course has been conducted in virtual mode from start to finish—yet another example of the NATO Defense College’s capability to adapt to the current circumstances and to continue delivering education.
