A delegation from the German Higher Command & Staff College visited the NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rome. The NDC Commandant, Lieutenant General Wolf-Dieter LOESER warmly welcomed his compatriots. The Commandant provided the 20 members of the delegation, led by Brigadier General Bernhard LIECHTENAUER, with a briefing about the College after which followed a lively question and answer period.
The members of the German delegation showed much interest in the activities and the aims of the College. It was, for them, an occasion to learn more about the courses run here at the NDC: Senior Course, NATO Regional Cooperation Course (NRCC), Generals, Flag Officers & Ambassadors’ Course (GFOAC).
The delegation completed the day at the NDC by visiting the different divisions and meeting their compatriots working at the College. They also visited the facilities in the NATO Regional Cooperation Course Division, inaugurated in 2009, with the aim of creating a bridge between NATO countries and the broader Middle Eastern ones.
