Today, the 21st of April, a delegation from the Turkish Navy Staff College, consisting of 38 students and headed by Rear Admiral Can ERENOGLU, visited the NATO Defense College to receive a general overview of the NDC’s activities and to attend a lecture in the Main Auditorium.
The Dean of the NDC, Dr. Grant T HAMMOND, and the head of the delegation, Rear Admiral Can ERENOGLU, took the opportunity to talk about the College, and in particular to discuss its objectives and structure and the lessons learned from the NDC education programme and courses. The Admiral explained the Turkish Navy Staff College’s Regular Educational Trip to Italy and the topics examined.
After a briefing on the NDC’s mission and activities by the Public Affairs Officer, Colonel Fortuna, the delegation attended a panel lecture to the Senior Course on “Energy Security” delivered by Dr Monaghan (NDC/GBR) and Ms Korhola (MEP/FIN).
On completion of the programme for the day, the Turkish College staff expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the NDC for its hospitality.
