On 29 April 2022, the NATO Defense College (NDC) welcomed a delegation from both the Croatian Defence Academy “Dr. Franjo Tudman” and the Croatian War College “Ban Josip Jelacic”, led by Colonel Mijo Kožic, Head of the College. The aim to give the visitors a deeper understanding of NATO professional military education.
Upon arrival, the visiting delegation was welcomed by the NDC Dean, Dr. Christopher M. Schnaubelt. The NDC Head of the Academic Operations Division (DAO), Brigadier General Ferenc Molnár, then presented visitors a comprehensive briefing on the mission, academic programs and main activities of the NDC. Colonel Mijo Kožic delivered a brief introduction the Croatian War College “Ban Josip Jelacic”, followed by a Q&A session. The visit concluded with a tour of the NATO Defense College facilities.
The Croation War College “Ban Josip Jelacic” is the highest military school in the Republic of Croatia that provides training for officers to carry out the top-level duties in the domain of national security and defence. The Croation Defence Academy “Dr. Franjo Tudman” offers education, training and research in military and social studies, technology, leadership and management, strategy and security policy, and foreign languages.
