H.E. Hakki Akil, Ambassador of Türkiye to the Italian Republic, visited the NATO Defense College (NDC) on 30th November.
He was warmly welcomed by NDC Commandant Lieutenant General Arne Bård Dalhaug and by NDC Faculty Adviser Ms Ayça Oşafoǧlu, who is the Senior National Representative of Türkiye at the College. After a brief meeting in the Commandant’s office, the Ambassador received a dedicated briefing on the mission and activities of the NDC. This was followed by a guided tour of the premises, enabling the Ambassador to see state-of-the-art facilities in daily use by Course Members (Maynard-Thorn Auditorium, Library and Knowledge Centre).
Ambassador Akil expressed great interest in the work carried out at the College, its international vocation, and its fundamental contribution to the Alliance’s educational, research and outreach activities.
